Placed right in middle of vibrant Stellenbosch, many shops and restaurants are in walking distance even for my handicapped husband.
Everything was super clean and comfortable, the only one little thing was that the lights of the city were a bit bright during night time but I guess it's just me liking to sleep in complete darkness. Other than everything was just perfect.
The car was safely parked in the basement and the apartment felt very safe too.

The information you get about checking in, parking etc. was amazing. Even videos were provided. If everyone would do this traveling woukd be so easy.

If you needed any assistance someone was right there to help in a very friendly way.

If hopefully we'd come back to South Africa we would chose this place again.

We had the most amazing stay at Avemore Manor House! The property is absolutely beautiful, exceptionally well-stocked, and meticulously taken care of.
The location couldn't be better—it served as the perfect base for exploring the incredible local wineries, while still being conveniently close to both the airport and Cape Town. On top of that, the views from the house are simply breathtaking.
Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We would highly recommend this gorgeous home to anyone and can't wait to return!

Where to begin….
The property is absolutely stunning, the location is perfect as you are in the heart of Stellenbosch.
Cherice made check in effortless and was a phone call away for any problems, not that we had any.
I would highly recommend the property and will definitely be staying again…

Cherice was an absolutely incredible host and made our stay so special from start to finish. She was unbelievably responsive, always available for questions, and gave us so many fantastic local recommendations that truly elevated our experience. The accommodation itself was a dream — beautifully equipped with everything you could need for a few days away, plus an amazing outdoor area where we had multiple braais that made the stay feel extra special.

It was my wife’s (Japanese) first time alone in South Africa, she always felt safe and secure and enjoyed walking everywhere from the apartment, it was exactly what we were looking for!

The manor house is incredible and, as many have pointed out, much bigger in person than the photos portray.

This is the perfect place to make memories with your family. The pizza oven is a hit with kids. Very toddler friendly with sprawling lawns to keep them occupied for hours.

Slightly far away from Stellenbosch main center so plan your shop runs accordingly.

One slight negative was that I felt more complimentary firewood should be provided for the price paid, so that you don’t need to do a shop run. That said, Cherise’s very kindly offered to have some delivered.

Cherice's place is the absolutely amazing and we couldnt have picked a better place for our girls trip. All the reviews are spot on and what we loved most was that the place felt like home. If you value a good nights sleep when traveling, look no further. The beds are super comfortable. Thanks for having us and cannot wait to be back.

A lovely stay at Avemore. Very peaceful and just 10 minutes out of town, but super easy to get about to wineries, restaurants and the hustle and bustle. Was really great to have such an equipped kitchen for evenings with our baby and cooking at home.
