Great place to stay for doing wine tastings and dinners in Stellenbosch and nearby Franshhoek. We were able to Uber everywhere and did not even rent a car. Beds were very comfortable and the soaking tub was exactly what my body needed after two weeks of traveling and being on safari. Cherie was a very responsive host and easy to communicate with, as was Alena, her one-site manager. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place for a relaxing getaway. It had all the essentials we needed for a peaceful and much needed time out! The pool and braai area was great with fantastic views of the mountains. We had a lovely stay and will definitely be returning.

Cherice's place is right in the middle of Stellenbosch and was perfect for exploring the local bars and restaurants. Being central there will be some noise in the evenings, but nothing out of the ordinary. We were 4 adults and the apartment worked well for what we wanted, which was to dine out most days and to use the place just for sleeping, snacking and getting ready. The space is there for those wanting to dine in, but once you have luggage etc to contend with it may be a little tight.

The place itself was very clean and tidy and as described in the photographs.

The car park is tight (the host advised of this in advance) but manageable, we saw plenty of pickups / prado's and the like that appeared to have managed it.

The host communicated very clearly and we had all the information for getting into the apartment and checking out in advance.

Overall an excellent experience and ideal for those wanting to explore Stellenbosch!!

Fantastic Airbnb! The location was ideal—very clean, with wonderful quality linens, and felt extremely safe. I have a few suggestions: consider providing bottled water or installing a water filter tap, as the water in the fridge, stored in the purifier bottle, was tap water and not filtered/purified. Adding a few 500 ml milk boxes for coffee would be helpful, as the provided milk wasn’t quite enough. I really appreciated the extra towels, the air conditioning, and the additional set of keys in the keybox—such a thoughtful touch! The property felt very secure, centrally located yet wonderfully peaceful.

This property is an absolute gem—spotless, serene, and surrounded by breathtaking beauty along a peaceful road of wineries and estates. The atmosphere is stunning, offering a true escape and a perfect place to relax. Standard amenities were available but more than sufficient for a self-service stay. Elana, the property contact, was incredibly friendly, proactive, quick to respond, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. While I managed without a car, having one would add convenience for exploring the area. The property felt extremely safe, and I left already dreaming of returning to soak in more of its charm and tranquility!

• Avemore Hidden Haven Le Verger

Just loved it here. I chose a place out of town because my husband had come for back surgery and for his recovery we wanted somewhere peaceful with a view. Situated in stunning countryside Avemore in Devon Valley was exactly what we were looking. It was also incredibly easy to get to and from the hospital. Only 10-12 minutes. Cherice, our host, and her husband couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. Alana in the office was extremely efficient and quick to respond to requests or queries. We hope to get back for another visit some day.

This was our second stay at Cherices apartment in Stellenbosch, it is central and within walking distance of loads of great restaurants, there is private, secure parking which is always a plus. The host is responsive and always available to answer any questions throughout your stay. Whenever we go to Stellenbosch, this apartment is top of our list.

A peaceful spot nestled in the Devon valley area with a few boutique winery's close by and a short drive to Stellenbosch.
The spacious bedrooms share two shower rooms and a lovely open plan kitchen/dinner and living space. A short walk to the manor house pool and the property felt safe and secure.
the property is affected by load shedding but we did enjoy the wifi that stayed accessible throughout.
All in all we enjoyed our stay!

• Avemore Winelands Home Le Verger

The place is located in a beautiful area just a short drive outside of town of Stellenbosch. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful with a huge garden, nice pool area with sun-beds, flowers and fruit trees. Free parking on site, secure gate.
The apartment itself was well equipped and nicely decorated, kitchen full of amenities, washing machine, big fridge, all perfectly clean.
The host was very helpful, quickly responded to messages and gave clear instructions.
Unfortunately it is not as bright as the pictures show as the main big windows/entrance and doors are facing a (very nice) common area with lots of plants and grape vines. So unless you have all the blinds open and the sun is on that side of the land (not sure what geographical side that was) and are happy with little to no privacy then your apartment will get some natural light in.

Overall though we had a pleasant stay :)

• Avemore Orchard Le Verger

What a fantastic place!! Anyone visiting Stellies should check it out. It feels completely private and as if you have the whole area to yourself. We had a braai and relaxed by the pool and you're only 10 minutes from town.
The views are amazing and everything was fantastic! Will be coming again, for sure.
