Avemore at Sedgefield is a great holiday home with a large front veranda opening onto a spacious lounge with a fireplace, comfy furniture and a large dining table for a memorable dining experience. From the dining area you walk into a spacious kitchen with everything you need, including a washing machine and dishwasher. You will find a antique table with globe chairs in the kitchen making it a lovely area for kids to eat while mom cooks.
From the kitchen you enter a small guest room with a double bed and bathroom. Going upstairs you will find a small cosy entrance leading to a bathroom with shower, toilet, bath and basin. Adjoining this is another toilet and basin.
Sharing the top section of the house is a bedroom with bunk beds, a bedroom with two single beds (making a king size) and another bedroom with a queen size bed. The rooms have large built-in-cupboards, lovely furniture, linen, wooden blinds and ceiling fans.
An added extra bonus, is the second Lounge, complete with a coffee nook, extra washing machine and dishwasher. On this side of the large home, you will also find the following - a bedroom with queen size bed and en-suite bathroom, a large family bedroom, consisting of a king size bed, 2 single beds, tables, chairs and a bathroom.
The house offers a fire pit for those great evenings outside, creating a lovely private retreat at the back of the garden. When you go up the outdoor steps, you will also find an amazing rooftop veranda with comfortable outdoor furniture. This family home also provides guests with barbeque facilities for those summer evening braais. Ample parking is provided under shady trees in front of the Avemore Sedgefield home. An outside shower, basin and toilet is convenient for teenagers, and for rinsing off after a long day playing at the lagoon, or beach.
Both lounges include a TV, DVD player and DSTV selected bouquet. There are video shops in town with a good selection of movies
Bring your canoes/kayaks with and enjoy the safe lagoon and one of South-Africa’s biggest freshwater lakes without having to drive anywhere first.
Accommodation is supplied on a Self-Catering basis only and comfortably sleeps 14 guests.
Towels and linen are provided for your use at the house. Please bring your own beach towels. Children are welcome
The house is not serviced internally, except on departure. Housekeeping can be arranged at an extra charge.
No Wi-Fi, internet provided.

Sedgefield is a charming seaside village completely surrounded by lakes and sand dunes covered in fynbos. It is located in the heart of South Africa's Lakes District and is renowned for its unspoiled beaches, water sports, and paragliding.

At Avemore, our goal is to provide every guest with an exceptional stay. To maintain our high standards, we have implemented the following guidelines. 100% Deposit is required to secure your booking.
No Pets Allowed
No Smoking Allowed
No Parties

Cancellation Policy
If cancelled 60 days or less prior to arrival, you are liable for 100% of the booking total
An admin fee of up to 10% of the booking value is charged for cancellations made 61 days or more before arrival.
Early check out and no show - will forfeit full booking total

Breakage Deposit
A Breakage deposit of R6,000.00 is payable upon booking. This is refunded in full within 14 days of departure provided there is no damage to the house and/or it's contents.

We are happy to let you know that Avemore Vineyard View has a back-up power supply to cover you during electricity load-shedding which affects South Africa from time to time.
To ensure that you have power available throughout the load-shedding slot, please alternate the use of the following appliances as using them all at the same time may deplete the battery too quickly:
• Microwave
• Kettle
• Toaster
• Air-conditioners.
Please also ensure that air conditioners are turned off when leaving the apartment.
During loadshedding the electric stove will not work, we have installed a gas hob that you may use for that period.
Our back up system will make sure you have a wonderful stay.
