Avemore Jan Cats 2 is ideally located in the old historic quarter of Stellenbosch and offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a tastefully decorated apartment, situated in the heart of historic Stellenbosch.
The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms, one furnished with a queen-size bed and the other with a king-size bed, 2 en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin, and an open-plan living and kitchen area. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and are equipped with electric blankets, hairdryers, a lockable safe, and a Daikin aircon. A crib, baby chair or baby bath can be arranged on guest request.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, microwave, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a dishwasher, a washing machine/dryer combo, and a Nespresso machine. The living area features beautiful decor and furniture, of superb quality. The lounge offers comfortable seating, and patio doors open out onto a balcony with outdoor furniture where guests can unwind and enjoy a glass of wine. Secure parking is allocated for 1 vehicle and the building is serviced with an elevator. The property has a Victron backup power supply. A gas hob is also available during load shedding.
In addition to shops and restaurants, Avemore at Jan Cats is also situated within close proximity to internet cafes, pavement cafes, bistros, cappuccino and wine bars, as well as the Eikestad Mall and Stellenbosch University. A list of wonderful wine farms and restaurants can be shared with guests should they want to visit wine farms. Guests can visit Leverger to use the swimming pool.

Pre-Payment Policy
100% Deposit is required to secure your booking.

Cancellation Policy
If cancelled 30 days or less prior to arrival, you are liable for 100% of the booking total
If cancelled 60-31 days prior to arrival, you are liable for 50% of the booking total.
An admin fee of up to 10% of the booking value is charged for cancellations made 61 days or more before arrival.
Early check out and no show - will forfeit full booking total
Parking
Kindly ensure that you park on the allocated parking spot. Failure to do so may result in Avemore Apartments incurring a fine which you would then be liable to pay. In the unlikely event that someone else has parked on your allocated spot, kindly take a picture of the vehicle registration number and send it to us so that we may report the matter to the relevant Body Corporate.
Breakage Deposit
There is no breakage deposit required, but guests will be invoiced upon Check-Out, should there be any breakages or stains on furniture/linen, additional cleaning will be charged in extreme cases. Breakages are payable within 7 days of receiving your breakage invoice.
Load Shedding
We are happy to let you know that Avemore La has a back-up power supply to cover you during electricity load-shedding which affects South Africa from time to time.
Please note that during load-shedding, should high power appliances be used excessively, the battery may run flat.
High power appliances include air-conditioners, hairdryers, dishwashers, tumble-dryers, electric kettles, toasters and microwaves.
We are happy to let you know that Avemore Jan Cats No 3 has a back-up power supply to cover you during electricity load-shedding which affects South Africa from time to time.
To ensure that you have power available throughout the load-shedding slot, please alternate the use of the following appliances as using them all at the same time may deplete the battery too quickly:
• Microwave
• Kettle
• Toaster
• Air-conditioners.
Please also ensure that air conditioners are turned off when leaving the apartment.
During loadshedding the electric stove will not work, we have installed a gas hob that you may use for that period. Our back up system will make sure you have a wonderful stay.
